wot trigger
What is a wot trigger
The WOT has a patent-pending, spring-locking bar that makes the trigger unique.
The wot trigger is also a trigger assembly designed to be fitted into an AR-15 style firearm. It is a copy of the FRT-15. 6.
When an FRT-15 or WOT is fitted into a firearm, the firearm will fire multiple rounds—
without manual reloading—automatically by a single function of the trigger
The trigger’s hammer is reinforced with Hardox steel, which due to its toughness, copes with shocks, jolts, bangs, nicks, and jabs day after day.
This material allows the WOT to take the constant beating of the bolt carrier group (BCG) as it cycles back and forth in an AR-15 rifle or pistol.

This material allows the WOT to take the constant beating of the bolt carrier group (BCG) as it cycles back and forth in an AR-15 rifle or pistol.
The WOT is not capable of being a fully automatic trigger because the hammer is released by the locking bar and hits the firing pin.
The firing pin then activates the primer on the brass casing which allows only one bullet to make its way out of the rifle with each pull of the trigger.
A couple of things. The WOT and FRT both have a mechanism to force the trigger forward as the BCG goes into battery.
But, if you hold the trigger down too tightly, you can over ride the reset and cause a dead trigger.
On the binary trigger, the gun fires when you pull the trigger and when you release the trigger.
You can also return the gun to a safe state with the trigger depressed if I am not mistaken- negating the second shot.
The ATF ruled (or maybe it was a court) that the binary trigger was not a machine gun because each shot requires a
deliberate action- pressing for the first shot then releasing the trigger for the second.
People that are fast enough can over run the binary trigger and cause a jam. T
his should not be an issue on the wot/frt, assuming the shooter has the right amount of press to activate the
trigger and not cause the reset to fail.

PATENT-PENDING SPRING CARRIER
The wide-open throttle trigger (WOT) is a two-stage, hard-reset trigger that allows the user the ability to shoot faster,
while still allowing only one single shot per trigger pull.
The trigger is designed to shorten the length and time a trigger needs to reset itself,
by using the elastic energy of the patent-pending spring carrier. When compressed, the spring carrier forces the trigger into a neutral or reset position.

can arise from a number of things. The most common cause is simply wear and tear on the trigger itself.
This can be fixed by replacing the trigger, but it is also important to make sure that the gun is properly lubricated to prevent further wear and tear.
WOT Trigger problems
Another common problem is that the springs in the trigger assembly can become worn or broken, which again can be fixed by replacing them.
Finally, if the gun has been stored for a long period of time without being used, the firing pin may become stuck, preventing the gun from firing.
This can usually be fixed by simply cleaning and lubricating the gun.
If you are having problems with your WOT Gun Trigger, it is important to take it to a qualified gunsmith for repairs.
Trying to fix it yourself can result in further damage to the gun and void the warranty.

When it comes to choosing a WOT trigger, there are a few things you need to keep in mind.
First, you need to decide what purpose the trigger will serve.
There are different types of triggers designed for different types of guns, so it’s important to choose one that is compatible with your gun.
Second, you need to consider your budget. As we mentioned before, the price of a WOT trigger can vary depending on the model and make.
Third, you need to think about what features you want in a trigger.
Is the WOT trigger full auto?
No, the WOT trigger is not full auto.
The WOT trigger is a single-stage trigger that requires you to pull the trigger each time you want the gun to fire.

Are wot trigger reliable?
There are many factors to consider when determining whether or not a wide open trigger is reliable.
The first factor is the quality of the trigger itself.
There are many different brands and types of triggers on the market, and some are definitely better than others.
Additionally, even the best triggers can have issues if they’re not properly maintained or installed.
Another important factor to consider is the gun itself.
Some guns are just inherently more accurate than others, and this will affect how reliable a wide open trigger is.
Similarly, some guns are simply more finicky than others and may have issues with certain types of ammo or primers.
